The stars have aligned, I wave blogs written AND wifi to post! Here’s my letter to Bulgaria, Month 8.

Dear Bulgaria,

Thank you for giving me a good ole’ summer camping time. I was praying that I wouldn’t be in the capital cities of Eastern Europe, and the Lord provided! Ending with the sweetest blessing in the mountains of Bulgaria. I was able to sleep in my tent, or hammock almost every night, until the last week where we moved close to the city but were blessed with a cute house for our tiny team.
I was blessed by the people we met. The couple we worked with in the mountains was amazingly hospitable, loving, and full of joy and love. We learned how to make traditional Bulgarian foods – which to be honest I probably won’t remember how to do. We got to enjoy meals with them, and we even celebrated their wedding anniversary with them! They welcomed us in with love, and that is a true testament to Bulgaria as a country.
You were our last stop in Eastern Europe, and I am thankful for the delicious cheese and bread we had before you sent us off to souther Africa! Thank you for your blessings, your lessons, you love, and your food.
