It turns out snow and ice trumps all. We never made it out of Gainesville, which means we never made it to Guatemala. Due to the weather conditions and back up of planes our flight out was canceled and we have decided to post pone our trip to Guatemala until further notice.

When we got the news our flight was canceled I did not know what to do with myself. I had planned on being out of the country for a week; I had no food and no plans.
That is just where God likes us, completely dependent upon Him. You see He loves to take care of us and bless the heck out of us! Not only did I eat a delicious meal for dinner that night I got to spend it with my house family! We all pitched in ingredients to make a community dinner, our house parents got home from a 2-week trip to their home state just in time for dinner and it turned into a night of great conversations.

The next morning was completely open and free, with no premade plans. I decided to continue going to the soul care conference I had been attending earlier in the week and was blessed with so much healing and freedom!
If I had left the country I would not have experienced any of these events, I would not have felt the love of God and His healing touch in a deeper and more intimate way and I would have had to wait another week to see my house parents! I can not tell you all that has happened this week, that would be way to much information. All I can say is that it is Friday, I’m safe in Georgia, I have the best Abba ever who has far greater plans than we could ever make and He likes to bless us.
God only know what the rest of this week holds and I most decidedly like it that way.

Here is to a week of unknown and blessings.
I pray that you all get a taste of having your plans wrecked to make room for His and that you embrace it and let Him lead!
