This is not the end of me. God is making me into something beautiful. If I trust in him with all things.If we trust him, he will make us into something beautiful. There are so many songs out there that sing of this, sing of God making us into something new, into beautiful things. Yet it is something hard to grasp to take in. It is a sweet thought, but to truly believe that God will take all the junk in your life. All the shame, the lies, the times you fell, got bruised, all the times you pushed other down, and bruised them. EVERYTHING in you, in your past he will take and make it beautiful. Why? Because that is why he made us. He made us to reflect him. To bring him glory. To look beautiful like he does. Our destiny is to be Him.
Oh God how do you put up with us? With me? Always trying to do things on my own, freaking out, getting overwhelmed. Trying to hide from you, seeking out all things but you for comfort. I forget that all I have to do is go to you. To turn my face and you will be there. You do not leave me to do things on my own. To try to clean up my own mess. You will watch me as I struggle on my own, whispering darling I am here. I made you! I can clean this up for you! I can guide you!
God I need you!

God you have my heart!
God I cannot take it back because I did not give it to you, it is yours. You spoke it into life.

God you are! I am so thankful for you, for all you are and all you have done. To be a part of your creation is an honor. To know that you want the best for me is crazy. To know you hem me in your being is comforting. To know that I am not alone, that every person around me is your creation and you want the same for them as for me is humbling.
To spend time with you is to gain life. Thank you for the life you have given me today.
