So if you are even following this
far…then what does that mean for you…

It means we can live abundantly. It
means we can live freely because it is for freedom that Christ set us
free. It means we stop asking God what we can and can not do and ask
Him to who He wants us to be. He is redefining our identity. Our
identity as Children of God. We inherit his Holy Spirit and His
characteristics. We are to God the aroma of Christ.

Perfect…you’ve heard that before.
Now…are you living like it? Do you walk around with the reality
that you can have relationship with God who gives His children never
ending sources of joy, peace, rest, and wisdom? Do you live as if
God is alive and living inside of you? Do you walk around thinking
about how God delights in you? Your mistakes don’t surprise Him. Your
weakness is not too much to handle. He already weighted the cost and
paid in full.

Perhaps the problem is we don’t see the
value in the love of God. God’s love-yep…we don’t see it for what
it truly is. And I’m not just writing some mumbly jumbly typical
bible study response on how unfathomable Christ love is. Because most
of us walk away not living like we are loved with an unfathomable
love. Christ can overcome the grave but not our stressful 9-5, loans,
troubled family member, and errand list! Are we kidding ourselves? We
scream with out actions that God’s love can’t satisfy so we stress
over finding a spouse, hiding our lusts and affairs, or making and manipulating the
one we have into loving us better.

I heard somewhere that we live like
beggars. We walk around with a little tin cup begging for whatever
compliments we can muster, power we can obtain, money we can make,
and attention we can receive. We settle for pocket change, buttons,
and lent when our father is offering us a vault of golden coins to
swim in. (Yes like Ducktales). We lick the crumbs off the floor while
God has a table of the best food awaiting us if we only looked up on
the table and took our seat as friend and no longer servant.

What if there is more? More than we can
ask or imagine? I’m not talking about nice pretty day dreams…I”m
talking about the reality of living in the power and love of a mighty
and beautiful God. What if freedom is not having our worth
being constantly tossed back in forth by the acceptance and rejection
of people? What if we can stand upon the solid rock of Christ because
He really is what is lasting and good? What if we have been believing
lies for way too long?

Lord reveal your TRUTH!
