Filling in the Time Lapse…

When I first was accepted to the World Race and started thinking about what was expected of me, what was likely to happen while on the race, and what kind of challenges I might encounter, I knew right away what one of my biggest obstacles would be. You might think it would be the thought of not showering for 5 days straight, or sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag for months on end, or facing monster spiders in the Malaysian jungle. No, my biggest challenge is PUTTING WORDS ON A COMPUTER SCREEN! Ahhhh!!

All of my closest friends know that I am super savvy with technology, I respond to emails and text messages almost immediately, and I’m always updating my facebook!  NOT

Me and Social Networking (or communicating through any kind of technology)…we have issues.

So, needless to say there has been a huge time lapse between my first updates and now -about 6 months actually. Therefore, I will do my best to fill you in on the past 6 months and what has occurred in my life, how support raising is going, and what God has been teaching me.  Also, I commit myself to consistently post blog updates so you can journey along with me throughout my race. Please pray! lol

Facing my computer screen – the first of many issues to be dealt with during the race!
