Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

It’s week three in the Philippines and we are tired and exhausted, but blessed to see what God has been doing in the relationships here in Manilla!!! I don’t even know where to begin with the amazing people and children that have been touched with God’s love and the stories. I have built some wonderful relationship with the children and I cannot believe that its time to move to the next country in eight days. At one time or another we have to all go through some kind of grieving of the amazing people that God has put in our paths and have to leave behind very shortly and keep moving forward to follow His footsteps, but in time we will see all His children, God’s Children in the kingdom sooner than most of us think.  I have seen some wonderful changes in some of these children that have been transformed and new beginnings are happening for them.

Just in the last few weeks I have noticed a huge changed in this little girl named Tyra that came to the children’s home the week we came to the Philippines. Tyra is 2 years old and has been abused along with her little brother Chris that is 10 months old and looks like a new born and another little sister Alex and she is six years old. These three children are just some examples of what God has done to love them and heal them. I still remember the first time I saw Tyra in the nursery and she would not let anyone hold her or touch her and was freightened all the time.  I remembered seeing her the first time and God just telling me that He was going to heal her.  The first time I worked in the nursury I just rubbed her hair and just kept telling her that everything that happened was not her fault that she is loved by the most wonderful person and that her one and only Father loves her.  God put it on my heart to pray for her and thats what I did.  Not only is she letting others pick her up but she is laughing and smiling.  She is a very special little girl and is going to do some amazing things in this world.  From then on I just prayed over her and her brother and sister that they would be healed physically and emotionally from all the wounding that has taken place in their lives. I knew and believed that they would be taken care of because God loves His children so much and wants the best for them.
