I told Shawna the other day that I don’t even know where I’m at on the map.
That if I were to look at a world map right now, I couldn’t exactly point out where I am.
All I know is that I’m somewhere in the Andes Mountains of Peru.
In a small town called Musho.
That’s kind of weird to think about.
How did I get here?
I mean really … how did I get here?
It’s all really bizarre to think about.
To know that this was
all a part of the Lord’s plan for my life.
That when He created the earth and the heavens – He knew that I would one day come to visit this place and see the splendor he breathed into it.
It’s all really
big to think about.

While it’s been a very beautiful place to live, it’s been a very difficult 1st week so far for the teams.
It seems that most of us have either
been sick or
are sick currently.
There are a lot of forces at work in this place – many teammates have also either had trouble sleeping or have had bad dreams as well.
We are learning to rejoice in the trials that we are coming against however – for we know that these attacks would not be taking place if we were not a
threat to the enemy.
I simply ask for your prayers as we continue to bring the light and the good news to this area.
Please pray for protection for the teams and that we would continue to walk boldly – for He that is in
US is greater than he that is in this world!
Our work this next month is quite spread out – we are somewhat involved here in the church in Musho, but more than that, we are spending most of our time in a neighboring town called Tumpu.
Tumpu has no church and it is the vision of the Musho church leaders to plant a church there.
We might be spending some time in the schools teaching English there as well.
Additionally, one at a time, each team will depart for a week away from Musho/Tumpu.
Team Zeo leaves Monday to work in a church in nearby Mancos.
The week after that, Team Nessa will be visiting another town up in the mountains … and then the last week we are here in Peru, my team will be headed to a very remote village even higher up in the mountains.
We don’t really know what to expect for that and we’re not even quite sure what our ministry will be there yet either.
We will just have to wait and see!
Ah!
The life of a World Racer!

And just one more side note … I’d like to thank each and every one of you who contributed to my care packages.
Whether letters or stickers or rolls and rolls of toilet paper – everything was SO wonderful.
I think I won the prize (inadvertently) for most care packages received!
We were able the other night to have QUITE the movie night because of all the snacks and candy I received!
Ha.
J
So yeah … thanks so much!

I know it’s a short update, but it will have to do for now.
Love you all and send me a comment!
I love hear from you!
Blessings.
