Hello again to all of my friends and family!
I hope this update finds everyone doing well. I would like to begin by thanking all of you for your love and support over these past few months. Preparation for the trip has been going great so far. Lots of letters have been sent and many hours have been poured into getting all of the details in order. So thanks to
everyone who has played a part in putting this whole thing together!
I recently returned home from two weeks of orientation and training at the AIM headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia. Located about two hours north of Atlanta, I spent two weeks with 55 other World Race participants … we played together, sang together, sat through seminars together, prayed together, fasted together, experienced a “refugee camp” together, hiked together, and camped together. But even more than that … we have
learned together and have
grown together to become not only great friends, but each other’s family for the next year as well. Needless to say, it was an exciting time of preparation for this adventure we’re about to jump into.
As time draws nearer to my departure, I would appreciate any and all prayers for both my team and these specific countries that we will be traveling to. Additionally, I am putting together my official
prayer
partner list for this trip. I am hoping to have at least 2 individuals willing to commit to a month of prayer for me and a particular country. If you feel led to join with me in this way, please let me know which country you would like to help support in prayer. As far as fundraising is concerned, a HUGE thank you goes out to those who have so generously supported me so far. I currently have a little over

13,000 that I need. I still have a long way to go, but I have faith that the Lord will continue to provide.
