In the past two weeks I have left South Africa with a new team, have sat on an accumulation of about 60 hours of bus riding, I have needed to raise more funds and still do. In fact I still need at least $700 by Jan 1 to stay on the world race.
I have lived in the bush with my amazing team. Each of them are truly incredible people. With four americans, a brit and myself we had been living in a place called Incaia. We had spent the week in a very up in the air attitude. With our contact not knowing that we were even coming, but graciously opens up his home to us. He also fed us, and made ministry work out of nothing.
We had done church services, a childrens' program one day, visited families deep in the bush and prayed for them, and on Saturday we did a mini seminar teaching on discipleship. However figuring out that there was a little miscommunication and not enough ministry to last the month where we were, we were moved to Maputo where there is lots to do. Thank the Lord He is in control of all things.
Now, after a little confusion our team was moved back to the city to Maputo where the internet is a lot easily accessible. Which is something that for me is what I really need this month. Yes I said need. That is very true if you have not read the above. I would not like to leave the race. It is incredibly hard, and challenging, but also the most amazing choice I could have ever made.
Can I just also note that I am already glad I have been able to pull out my tent and make it my home this past week.
Thank you and I love you all and hope you have an amazing Christmas!
