Friday I had a wedding to go to which was soo nice and lovely. Such a sweet and lovely couple. Also last week was my last week of work….It was pretty bittersweet. Although soo excited to start my new adventure…it was a little tough saying goobye to people that I have built relationships with.
They blessed me sooo much on my last day…Thursday… by throwing me a surprise goodbye party. It was really sweet and completely unexpected. I didn't think I had made such an affect as how I was treated the last day. With numerous people crying as I said goodbye.. I truly did not think that would have been the case. For me I just thought that they thought I was a nice girl and that they were sad to see me leaving. As it turned out they just blew my mind with their appreciation. It may be small, but it was very much touched my heart, but the simple fact that my boss had made me cupcakes with my favourite fruit (pinapple) and made them without any dairy was amazing!
The prior week one of my bestfriends' Samara came up from Omaha, Nebraska to visit me. Along with another beautiful friend Becca. Which was soo lovely just to spend the time that I had with them. Samara just came back from the World Race July 31 and so we were able to discuss what she had gone through. How tough it was and just how wonderful it was and how much God showed up!
This month has just flown by so far, and I cannot believe it is only another two weeks until team "Fuego de Dios" starts our adventure with each other but most importantly with our papa Jesus.
I'm soo excited and overwhelmed and curious and just in pure wonder as to what God will do these next 11 months.
Pray he prepares each step for me and guides me!
