Laughing. Who doesn’t love laughing? People are their most beautiful when in laughter.  There’s something about that emotion, that feeling that can’t be faked.  It brings joy, it’s contagious, it’s beautiful. It’s one of my favorite things to do.

My prayer lately has been asking God for more of him and just loving the time we spend together.  Who doesn’t want to go deeper with God?

I’m learning to be romanced by God. For me a good romance includes laughter. Looks fade. Make me laugh and keep me laughing- my heart is yours.

So it shouldn’t be a surprise to me when God sweeps me off my feet and I can’t stop laughing. Why wouldn’t you wanna laugh with God?

I’m learning that people can experience God and the Holy Spirit in so many different ways I.e. singing, dancing, shouting, crying, ribbon dancing, flag waving, lying down, through art and yes laughing.

My life is full of random moments and let’s say in our praise and worship during debrief in the Philippines, God kept on revealing himself to me in funny and random situations that only God and I would understand.

I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed. When I thought I was done, I started laughing again. I felt awful because people were crying but then here I was having the time of my life and laughing with my king. What a concept: to laugh with my best friend and to fall more in love all whilst laughing!!!

Mark spoke about freedom earlier that night and I was able to let go and worship him in laughter.

Every random and hilarious thing that has ever happened in my life and more recently kept on replaying in my mind. God kept on saying, “Yes, laugh with me, I made that happen. That was all me.”

Think of the funniest person you know.  God made that person so of course he has to be wittier and funnier than that person.

God is the funniest person that I know and I know that he has quite the sense of humor. He has too or my life wouldn’t have panned out the way that it has.

Praise him for revealing himself to me in so many different ways knowing that I have the shortest attention span ever. I have never felt his love stronger than laughing with him in his presence. When I think it can’t get any better, somehow it does and I can’t help but fall more in love with God.

Laugh with him. It’s the most fun you’ll have. 😉

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.  Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”– Psalm 126:2
