What do you mean, “Trumpets of One?”

So the brief synopsis of our team name is that we wanted something to be strong, a battlecry, a motivation and inspiration. We want to represent love, unity, boldness, craziness, joy, freedom and hope…. because that’s who we are. 😉
we kept on going back to 2 Corinithians 2: 14.
“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.”
Hope and I joked about being “irrestible aroma” bahahah love her.
Triumphal procession stuck out to us and we liked the idea of a band praising HIM led with trumpets… onto the Battle of Jericho.. where the trumpets were so loud they broke down those walls, along with the idea that any army ready to battle begins its fight with a loud charging trumpet song (bugle?) and followed by 1 Thes 4:16 says,
” For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God.”
hmmm. love it. and “of one” stems from the unity together and for our God. AMEN!
Danny ends his blog, “I guess when people tell us to be God’s instruments we can reply, “Will do, in fact we will be His trumpets!” “
