Hello friends!!
I pray that you are all doing well! Today the September squad, also known as “The Q”, has officially been on the world race for exactly 9 months. We are in Ukraine and have 6 short weeks left on this crazy adventure. It seems like not too long ago I was in Lubbock trying on backpacks that carry more than any one person should ever attempt to lug around for 11 months!
I wanted to give an update about my support and let you, my supporters in every way possible, know where things are financially. I am currently not fully funded…but I’m oh so close! I have a couple of monthly supporters who have been a tremendous blessing! There are also many of you who have given when you didn’t have the money to spare or even given when you did have the money to spare. I want to say THANK YOU to all of you. I would not be this far along this journey without each and every single one of you. No gift is too small….and I really mean that!! It has been such an honor to partner with you all. I also want to say THANK YOU to those who have been my prayer warriors. You may never know the power your specific prayers have had on this journey…maybe one day you’ll be able to know of all the lives that were touched because you prayed for a missionary that was heading out of the country and into the unknown. Know that each and every one of you are loved and I pray blessing for every one of you who have sent in a gift or lifted up a prayer, or even a word of encouragement. It has meant so much.
As of today, I am $800 short of being fully funded. Considering it started at $14,300 last year…I think $800 is nothing short of wonderful! In a year, you have helped raise over $13,000!! When I first learned of the world race and how much money it would cost….I thought they were crazy. I thought I was crazy! I was skeptical of coming up with that much money. I was a children’s pastor on a very limited budget. Fourteen thousand dollars is thousands of dollars! Lol. I am fully confident that the rest of the $800 will come in over the next six weeks. I do need your prayers though! Please pray that the funds will come in. Pray that God will lead people to donate. This trip has changed lives…it has changed my life. Know that the money that has come in and will come in has blessed so many people. It has not been wasted. Thank you so much for all you have done. I love you all and will see you soon!!
