I sit in a dark room, unable to sleep. It’s the eve of our halfiversary (the half way point for my time on the World Race). My head and heart swirl as I think of the incredible things that have happened so far, and look with great excitement for the things to come. This is not just my race…it’s your Race too! We’ve been to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, the Philippines and Thailand. Currently, we are in Malaysia, planning for Cambodia, India, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda.
Remember the children who stole our hearts in Honduras where we encountered heavy spiritual warfare as the enemy is on high assignment against these precious ones.
As well as the women who are trafficked through the hotel room we continue to pray over as the Lord moved us in the middle of the night out of a dangerous situation in Malaysia.
And the man in the park of Granada who asked me to pray for him, not knowing that a battle was breaking out in the spirit and the Spirit of God would burst forth like a cannon against the darkness that had overtaken him.
This is what being fully alive feels like! Alive to feel the deep pain and struggle of the poor and oppressed. Alive to rejoice with those moving in freedom and encountering the Holy God. Alive to say ‘Yes’ to God again today.
