Our first night in Barangay Can-ayan, we went around the area trying to figure out what to do for dinner.  We ended up at one of the ‘larger’ sari-sari stores buying some odds and ends.  While there, the owner of the store asked us if we would buy her grandson a wheel chair (the people here are not shy about asking for money).  He is disabled and because he cannot walk, he is unable to go to school.  We told her that we did not have that kind of money, but we had something better, we had the power to pray a prayer of faith that her Grandson could be healed.  She took us next door where we met Dexter, the cutest, happiest little boy who stole our hearts.  Later that night during team time, 3 people shared that they felt God lay it on their hearts that we should go back and pray for Dexter every day we are in Can-ayan.

Will you pray with us?  We are asking God heal his body so that he can go to school and spread the joy in his heart with the other children there and that He will be a man of God who trusts the Lord and can lead other people to the love of Jesus.
