I finally had a decent internet connection to get some pics uploaded. Since time was still limited, I just picked some of my favorites. Here are 4 of my favorite pics from the last 2 months….click "Browse Photos" on the left to see more….
I first want to say THANK YOU! Each of these pictures represents one small memory of how you and I are changing the World together! The Love of Jesus changes everything! It has changed my life, and through my journey, it is changing countless lives along the way.
In Nicaragua, we worked with Los Pepitos one day. My favorite time of the day was doing Physical Therapy with Oscar, a joyful 6 year old whose muscles are tense and curled up all day. They couldn't tell us what was wrong with him, they say all the kids have the same thing (basically that they are disabled), but each child disabilities are very different. Oscar and his mother are not Christians. Please pray for them!

When passing from Honduras into Nicaragua, we stayed the night in Tegucigalpa with my ministry contacts from the Solomente para Ti women's conferences last summer! What a treat to laugh and visit with such amazing sisters (and brother) in the Lord! We laughed and laughed for hours! One of the ladies shared how the message the Holy Spirit gave me regarding loneliness is still impacting her life and helping her fall more in love with Jesus!

Loving on Juan Jose makes my day :0)

Daniel and Angel, just being themselves :0) They are just 2 of the 39 children being raised up as men and women of God at Miqueas 6.8. Because we were there for so long, we were able to speak life into the kids in a way shorter term missions groups can not. We were able to sit with them during punishment and talk with them about how to be a man or woman of God. We could play with them, and challenge them to live a different kind of life. A life where they defend the weak and powerless instead of pick on a younger child. A life where the game is not about the win, it is about loving people well while you play. A life where being a man of God means you have the heart, mind, and character of Christ, and not the macho lies fed by their culture. Because these 2 boys were older when they came to Miqueas, they have firmly rooted memories of their families of origin, and having 'outsiders' like us affirm the morals and character that Melody and Jacob work so hard to instill has been invaluable! It changes things from "something Tia Melody and Tio Pappy say", and makes it something that people all over the world, who love Jesus, do and say!

In order for me to move on to the Philippines, I still need to raise $819 by the next deadline, December 1. Will you continue to partner with me in prayer and giving so that we can impact the world together? Please click 'Donate Here' on the left.
