I leave in 5 hours for the airport!  Next Stop, Tocoowa Falls, GA —- TRAINING CAMP!!!!  I was absolutely BURSTING with excitement at work tonight I could hardly stand it.  I would randomely burst out (trying not to yell) that “I’m So Excited!!!!”   I am not bringing my laptop, so it will be over a week before I get back to you with an update, but I DO have my camera this time, so there will be pictures!!!!  YYEEEAAAHHH!!!!
The weather forcast is rain, rain, and more rain.  the WHOLE week.  Please pray for health and safety as im sure sickness and injuries increase when you have over 300 people camping for a week in Thunderstorms :0)

Please also pray for the Lord to move in a mighty way.  In order for us to be fully prepared to serve, we need to let the Lord in to do some house cleaning of our own.  Racers come from all different denominations, and all different histories with the Lord.  As we enter into precious times in His presence, and start building relationships, I know the Lord wants to help bring freedom and change in our hearts this week.

My greatest longing this week is to have a powerful time in His presence where I am so caught up with Him, that it is like there is no one else in the room.  I dont have any ‘role’ to fill, so I can be free to dive in with Him and Him alone :0)

PS- shout out ‘THANK YOU’ to my Dad :0) It was his idea that I needed to balance the weight on my front and back to keep from falling over or straining myself. I literally could not stand up straight when I got all loaded, but now I’m good to go :0)

This was written by one of my Squad Mates Jennifer (& Josh) Mendenhall. It puts it so perfectly!

Twas the night before Training Camp,
And all through the land,
New World Racers were packing,
Running last errands.

The Racers were stuffing
Their gear in their packs.
Wondering how in the world,
They’d carry it on their backs.

With sleeping bags, compression sacks,
Chacos and tents,
How it would all fit
Just didn’t make sense.

They pushed and they pulled,
They stuffed and they zipped,
Hoping they’d be
Properly equipped.

While some loaded their cars,
And started out on the road,
Others waited for planes,
Excited and ready to go.

Their moblilizer had told them,
They had so much in store.
And the World Racers wondered
What they had signed up for.

They were nervous, excited,
Ready and willing,
To get to the camp
And start their floor on the Alumni’s ceiling.*

They could hardly wait
To meet up with their squad.
To break out of their comfort zones,
And hang out with their Papa God.

So they prepared their hearts
With each mile driven or flown.
They knew they’d be joining the World Race family,
And with them they’d always feel at home.
