In just a few more hours, I will be on a plane to Honduras for the ‘Solamente Para Ti Mujeras’ (only for you ladies) Woman’s Conference. Thank you so much to those of you who have been praying for this incredible event. I feel such an anointing of the Holy Spirit as I prepare to bring a message of hope to the hurting women of Honduras. I covent your prayers now for my body. I am very sick with a sinus infection. I am on an anti-biotic, but still feel pretty ick. I am beleiving God that this will not hold me back from the divine appointments He has for me in Honduras. The enemy wants nothing more than to keep me distracted or complaining, or whatever. But, instead, I am choosing joy! the song that the Lord has put in my heart when I am at work and my feet feel like they can not move another step is…. “You are my joy” by David Crowder Band. Flyleaf also does a rockin remake :0) I am full of such joy to have the honor of serving my King as a light in the darkness. What a privilage it is to have tired, acking feet for His glory!
Many people have asked what I am speaking about in Honduras. Well, here is the 30second tour (I have TONS to do before I go)….
I would classify my message as ‘The role of lonleness in womens lives’. (though I just found out that my official title is Purity). Basically, every woman will encounter periods of lonleness. Too often, we beleive the lies that the loneleness is a problem that needs to be fixed. Things like: I need a man, I need a better man, I need friends, I should just stay away from people all together because it hurts too much, there is something wrong with me. The truth is, loneleness is our soul crying out for more of God. If we can run into God during our loneleness He will meet us there, and the loneleness will pass. I have so much to say it will take me forever to narrow it down more, so I will have to post a seperate blog about it. (I really am running late).
Well, I cant wait to share with you all about what the Lord does in Honduras! Please pray for the women, that God would show them something new about Himself. Please pray for the team I am traveling with, that there would be a powerful anointing and that God would speak through each of us. Please pray for safety and good health.
