Hello!
There's lots a person can say about themselves. Here are just a few things about me (not in any particular order of importance, although the first one is key!):
-I am a follower of Christ, my Savior and King, and He is where my identity lies.
-I am 25 years old.
-I work at a mortgage company doing property tax research as an Escrow Representative.
-But I really fancy myself a Writer. I got my degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of Illinois. Go Illini!
-I lead a small group through my church of girls in their 20's. It is amazing to be a part of such a wonderfully biblical community. They are so supportive in what the Lord has called me to.
-I accepted Christ as my Savior early in high school but didn't really start living out my life as a growing disciple of Christ until the end of college when I rededicated my life to Him. The Lord has been growing and challenging me ever since.
-I have never been on a missions trip, nor have I ever fundraised for anything before. Can't wait to see all that the Lord has to teach me through these new experiences.
-I love STORIES. I love people's stories, I love stories in books and poetry and songs and media, I love histories.
-I am quite excited about the World Race and can't wait to step out in faith to do what the Lord has called me to do!
