UPDATE on Mission Trip! God has his own timing. I did not meet my first goal in order to attend the training camp for the trip in September, and I was stressed out with not having enough time to raise next goal and many other things before leaving. Therefore, I prayed about it and found peace and realized I wasn’t ready to leave yet. I had some unfinished business in my life, physically, financially, and spiritually to work on before departing for a year. This process is about growth and trust in God. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6) I am happy to say I have 5 months now to work on myself some more, grow closer to God, and work on my fundraising to get as close to my goal Before I actually leave. I will be having a Give Back night next month, a raffle, speaking at church functions, and working on other creative ways for you to participate and have time to help. Your support and help is greatly needed, as well as prayers and donations. Thank You to Everyone who has been praying for me, already donated to my cause, and been supporting me on this journey. I am beyond blessed and grateful. My heart is filled and I am so humbled by this experience. Here is my new route I will be traveling…Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Bolivia, Chile, Serbia, Kosovo, Romania, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda.
