As I sit here on my balcony, I start to wonder how I am going to be able to fund raise all this money? What if I get my hopes up for nothing? And then God whispers in my heart saying ‘ I got this.’ Through this process, God is really teaching me to patient and humble. It is easier said than done, but I think that is what this whole process is about, learning and growing.
I don’t start my World Race Journey in September when I get on that plane, I start my journey now. I start here simply with God’s promise, and right now that is all I have.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
