Hello! If you are reading this, I am excited to inform you about an exciting new change in my life! I decided to commit to going on the World Race Gap Year! A wonderful program where I will be able to travel abroad for 9 months and serve God all while doing so! I will get to visit places like Ukraine, Romania, Peru, Chile, and India.
I felt a calling. A calling to serve. A calling to change. A calling for adventure. A calling for a new challenge. A calling to help others in need. I needed to take this calling. I took it.
When I found out about the World Race, I couldn’t keep my mind off of it. This is what I needed to do and now is the perfect time to do it. I never pictured myself taking a year off of college. Leaving the comfort of the familiarity of my friends, my family, and a normal life, but God works in mysterious ways.
I am nervous about this new change, but I know with the love and grace that God has shown me and will continue to show me, it’s going to be amazing.
