Dun dun duuunnnn.
In seven days I’ll be back in the good ole US of A.
It depends on the minute whether I’m excited, crying, nervous, or desperate for home.
I’m not quite sure where my mind is with it all and It still doesn’t feel real.
For about the next four months I’ll be around Mason City! I’ll be embracing a new normal and I’ll also need a lot of grace. My life for the past 11 months has been a completely different normal and it’ll take time adjusting.
All that said, I’m suuuper stoked to share my experiences. I’ve had a blast, I’ve seen the Lord move in crazy ways, I’ve seen beautiful scenery, and theres been hilarious moments, and I really really want to share all of them with you. But, a lot has happened and I sometimes forget them.
So, heres some tips:
Specific questions are easier to answer. (What was your favorite ministry? What was your favorite food?)
I may have about three different answers for a question, or think of more things later too.
Ask anything, I’m more than willing to answer them! I also externally process things so answering questions will be great!
I’m going to need a lot of grace. I’ll also try my best to extend grace back too.
You lived another year of your life and did awesome things, too and I want to hear about them as well!
I’m also inviting you to my (parents) house for dessert or a bonfire and I can share more with you! It’s easier to share and explain pictures that way too. I miss baking and bonfires and people so it’s the best of all worlds in this case. Let me know if you want to take me up on this offer, it’d make my day!!
Finally, THANK YOU OH SOO MUCH. I couldn’t have done this without you. You’ve prayed, donated, commented, encouraged, laughed, hugged, and loved so incredibly well. I’m blown away at Gods work through you all, and it means so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t wait for countless hugs and laughs. Seriously though, you guys are the best and I’m so blessed to do life with all of you.
See you soon!
Michaela
