I am in LOVE!
I am in love with the B Squad, and I am in love with Kenya!
The B Squad will be having their 8-month debrief very soon. This is a very important time in their journey. They have experienced SO much, and are also entering the last leg of their World Race experience. This is a time for them to be poured into, and be encouraged to FINISH STRONG!
Stacey and I will be flying out to meet the squad, to offer our love and support! I am so excited to see them!
[ On a Sunday while we were in Kenya, this woman showed up at church. Earlier that day, she was so desperate that she decided to commit suicide. After church she came to the house we were staying at. Andy and I talked with her for about an hour, and at one point she received Jesus in her heart and felt her HEART CHANGE! This was actually last Easter, the same day we celebrated the resurrection of Christ, this woman’s LIFE was ALSO resurrected! Woohoo! ]
Some of you know I led a four month trip to Kenya! I really fell in love with that place and the people there. Last May, with the help of some amazing supporters, we managed to get two of the orphans I met while in Kenya supported for an entire year! Now, I am working with Kingdom Dreams at Adventures in Missions, to find a way to get all 40 of the orphans into a support system that will bring long-term stability into their lives.
The best news? An amazing girl named Holland who works for Adventures managed to get a great deal on our tickets out to Kenya!
I only need $555 to be completely supported for my time with B Squad!!!
