Day 1 – Fasting

I know the Lord loves me.  As I walked down the long Georgia-red driveway that snakes through the woods to the lake house, there were birds flying all around me.  They seemed to be dancing through the air, putting on a show for me.  As I watched them I thought to myself, “I know the Lord loves me.  I’ve been completely redeemed and my past is cutoff from my life.  Old ways of thinking, old ways of doing life are gone.  Today I step into the newness Jesus has for me.  He is so good, and He is so alive!  Things that used to weigh me down are gone and I’m free to fly, just the way the birds flew around me today”.
Day 2 – Letters
I woke up that morning to an email from a good friend:  “I just want you to know that I am blessing your life today!  May dreams that have slumbered be greatly awakened by the Spirit.”  I was so blessed by this, and decided to let Day 2 be a day of writing letters to people to simply bless them.

Day 3 – Nightwatch
My intentional way of worshiping today was inspired by events that happened Day 2.  Last night I had dinner at Seth Barnes house, along with all the guys who stay at the lake house.  It was an amazing evening!  It started on the front porch hearing stories from an Indian man named James.  James currently is a leader in India for over 3,600 churches!  But his dreams go far beyond that.  James hopes to plant over 25,000 churches, expanding over an area in India that would be the equivalent of reaching the entire southeast of the United States!  He is a man of great faith and vision and it was inspiring to be around such a man.
Then we moved to a porch on the side of the house that overlooks beautiful countryside.  The table was set, dinner was all prepared for us.  What a blessing to simply sit at a table and be served!  Our conversations were filled with faith, and when we finished dinner we began to pray and prophesy over each other.  I left that home changed.  Transformed.  Filled with faith!  I called a friend, and we decided to worship from 12-3am.  I was so blessed and filled with faith that I needed to get before God and thank Him!
