Andy said she doesn't cry.
As we met with the team after an intense night of worship, many people on my team opened up about some very personal stuff. Some broke down in tears. Andy casually said she doesn't cry, but was happy other people were able to open up in that way. I knew she had some walls built up around her heart.
Last night during worship we had a "prophetic activation". Kelly Chadwick taught that we all have the Word of God inside us. She taught that prophesy is simple, and is meant for three things: encouragment, exhortation and comfort. She taught that when we speak truth to other people, that truth comes alive to them, and then they become it.
Our teams broke up into groups of about 5 and got in a circle. They closed their eyes. Then we tapped one of them on the shoulder, and that person would step into the middle of the circle. This way, the team didn't know who they were prophesying over, and had to rely completely on God to bring a word of encouragement.
Andy stepped into the middle. The team began to prophesy over her. Afterwards, Andy shared about her experience.
There were some things that Andy had not yet shared to the team, but the words that were spoken over her last night spoke directly to those hidden things. I'm talking specific words, from God, that brought her encouragement, comfort, and freedom. As Andy shared, the tears streamed down her face.
This is only the beginning.
