In Nigeria we visited a small village named "Lei-Lei".  Our team was amazed by the peace we felt there, and how God's presence rests on the land.  We later found out that Lei-Lei literally means 'a place of rest'.

We met with men women and children from the village, and asked how we could pray for them.  There was only one prayer request:  "That God would give us the strength we need to worship Him."

I can't really explain it, but our experience that day was unlike any other on the race.  Walking around the village, I had complete peace.  I could hear the voice of God so clearly.  We prayed that God would flourish the village, so that not only would every man woman and child be provided for, but that there would be an overflow that would bless nearby villages.  The vision is, that as the people of Lei-Lei worship God and chase after His heart, people from nearby villages would come to find rest, get fed, drink decent water, and experience the love of Christ!

So, here is how you can help.  Walking away from the village that day, I felt called to be an advocate for the village, to get them clean water.  I have a contact in Nigeria, and met the pastor who ministers to that village.  I know of some ministries that dig wells, and get clean water to villages.  So if you feel called, let me know, and we can get working on this together!  I think it would be sweet if there was someone out there who feels called to take charge on this project, and maybe even get to visit the village!

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
