We arrived in Accra, the Capital city of Ghana a few days ago. We were greeted by a swarm of pastors and Christians at the airport. There were more people greeting us than there are on our squad! It was so amazing. Ghanaians are so welcoming and so joyful, it is very refreshing to be here!
Upon arriving at our hotel, I quickly made friends with two women, who I later found out would be cooking for us for the two days in Accra. As you can imagine, this definitely worked to my advantage. We had a couple days to rest, but I took the time to hang out with them in the kitchen, help out here and there, and especially help taste all the food. One of the women sang at church the night we were there, and I later found out here testimony, which is nothing short of amazing. I will have a blog coming soon.
We are now in Cape Coast, Ghana! It is so amazing to be back. I was here last March, almost to the day. Our contacts and ministry are amazing, I am truly blessed. Since they are my contacts, I am acting as the “point man” for both teams. It is definitely been a blessing to be in a leadership position. It has its challenges, but the rewards are greater.
