I am all about efficiency, so rather than sit and type out a short summary on each of the countries I will be traveling to and serving in I decided to use technology to my advantage and just insert this dandy link. (Some might lean towards calling this laziness; I am still holding to the whole efficiency mentality.)

For those who are wondering my team and I will not definitively know what ministries we will be serving alongside until we are in country and even then those plans can change in a moment’s notice.

I covet your prayers even now as I prepare to travel and live in each of these countries. No doubt there is risk and even danger in traveling abroad and ministry. As I have been contemplating this fact I am reminded of a very simple truth that I so often fail to remember. “God is not always safe, but he is always good.” Sometimes things happen that a person would do almost anything to change. Other times there are more questions than answers, and life has a way of going in any direction except the one that was planned. Now please do not misunderstand me, I am hoping for safety and protection during this journey. However, what I want even more than those is the faith to continue to trust God in the midst of whatever each new day brings.

I am trusting that WR is what God has called me to for this time in my life and because of that I know I do not have to fear the unknown or what-ifs. God has always been faithful to me. That is not an arbitrary statement based on theoretical knowledge but rather a heartfelt declaration rooted in previous experience.

Until next time…
