Hey guys, I’m Merridith! I’m 25 years old and I live in Atlanta, Ga. I moved to the big city from my hometown, Albany, GA, four years ago for college at Georgia State University. I graduated in May of 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science and now work as a tech at physical therapy clinic. I seriously love Atlanta and have a huge heart for this city. My desire is to see the Church rise up as one and for the whole city to come to know the living God! My faith has grown tremendously over the past two years and I am learning what it means to walk by the Spirit daily. I’m not quite sure what God holds for me career wise. I’m kind of in a state of limbo and listening but I know that my passion is set on The World Race: Human Trafficking Edition right now. I couldn’t tell you what human trafficking was until last January when I attended Passion 2010. Not For Sale had an area set up with videos of women and children’s stories who had been enslaved and used for sex. This broke my heart and left me asking HOW can this happen? Then after doing some research, I found out that Atlanta is possibly one of the biggest hubs for underage sex trafficking in the U.S., where 500 girls are trafficked for sex each month. Here, in Atlanta, really… that’s a call to action!
So psyched that God is calling me to go to the nations to prevent, stop, and bring healing to people affected by this injustice! Grateful for your partnership and excited about sharing my journey with you. Thanks for following!
