Welcome Back!

God has given me a crazy heart that longs to share His truth and hope wherever I am. He is the only One who can move my heart like that. In fact, if there is any good in me, He placed it there. No matter how often I forget, mess up, fail, or even run the opposite direction, I cannot get away from this call to spread the Gospel. I am so grateful that God chose me and that He will never give up on me.

As a little kid I remember my mom reading aloud stories of God miraculously providing for missionaries who trusted Him (ex. George Mueller). My parents generously supported missionary friends and I saw God bless their sacrifices. I also knew real-life missionaries who displayed spirit and character I wanted to emulate. They told me missionaries were needed and recounted God providing awesomely in their lives. I too want to leave everything else behind in order to gain dependence on an all satisfying God.

God compels me to share my joy. What compels you? How do you bring hope to those around you? I’d enjoy hearing your comments! The next posts broach the future and why I chose The World Race.

But if I say, “I will not mention His word or speak anymore in His name,” His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. Jeremiah 20:9
