Faith is a little crazy!
There is a verse I keep going back to that gets me pumped for the World Race. It’s Hebrews 11 and in my NIV bible it’s called “By Faith”. Basically it goes through a whole bunch of people in the bible who God called to do things and by faith they did them, even though they didn’t know where they were going, what they would say, if they would die, or if it would even be worth it. I’m pretty sure all these people that are talked about in this verse were in same way a little crazy. I guess faith is a little crazy, “It being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see”.
So I’m crazy and I go by faith to 11 countries for 11 months because it’s where God wants me to be.
UPDATE: I have surpassed my second deadline goal of 6,500!!!! WOOT WOOT!!! I will be leaving for training camp in Tennessee in 32 DAYS!!! EECK
My next deadline goal is $11,000 by April 2014, however I would really like to reach this goal before I leave just to give me less to worry about and not be distracted about raising fund while on the field. So all I need is $2,415 to reach that goal. Thank you to all that have given and who continue to give, you are AWESOME!!!!
