Isaiah 61:11
“For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers, and as a garden cascades with blossoms, so the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom and puts praise on display before the nations.”
Wildflowers have always been my favorite types of flowers! Their colors are so vibrant and beautiful and just make me smile! They look free and bold. They are all unique, but when they are together….it’s a masterpiece.
I believe that God is the master artist and His creation demonstrates His creative eye MARVELOUSLY! It’s so amazing to me that when He spoke, “Let there be light” and there are still being suns and stars being formed in this massive universe are tiny planet is apart of. His creativity is AMAZING!
And He created all of this to show us His splendor so we would be in awe of Him.
However, in this day and age…more people are worshiping His creation instead of Him. That was never His intention and it angers and hurts Him…and that is totally reasonable and understandable.
When we decide to surrender our lives to God fully, though, something beautiful happens. We are reborn and given a destiny and a purpose. The righteousness of Christ becomes our own. We have a Heavenly Father who no longer holds past wrongs against us (no matter how horrible they are) and secures our future if we follow His will. He promises us to take us from glory to glory and lead us on the right path if we listen to His voice! And that is SOOOOOOOOOOO TRUUUUEEEE!!!! His grace amazes me more and more the older I get and when He reveals strongholds in my life that needs to be torn down. I felt like I was going through Hell just a few months ago, but the truth is, He was tearing out strongholds out of me that were lies birthed from Hell.
The Christian walk isn’t always rainbows and butterflies, but it is THE MOST beautiful life you could EVER LIVE. It requires sacrifice, and picking up your cross daily, but oh the benefits! And to know GOD because of the gift of the Holy Spirit! What a beautiful opportunity!!!
I truly believe God makes those who are in the body of Christ as beautiful and glorious as wildflowers. We are all a different color, but we are all coated in God-colors. Pretty individually, but when we are together…we look Heavenly. We are the “Bride of Christ”!!!
When you choose Jesus, you’re in partnership with Him and other believers. It becomes a colorful, adventurous ride…which I think of as a “wildflower life.” 🙂
I don’t know if this was too all over the place or not, but felt led to write about it!
Thank you all for the support so far! And if you feel pressed, be faithful to give and God will reward you! This isn’t just my journey…I may be the “feet” walking to these countries, but you all can be the heart and hands to give. You will be with me! And definitely keep my whole squad in your prayers! (THEY ARE AMAZING)
Love,
Meraia
