I am beyond excited to share with you where the Lord has been leading me the last few months and where he is calling me to over the next two years. I have the opportunity to partner with Adventures in Missions on the World Race, which will take me to 11 different countries in 11 months!
I’m sure your initials thoughts will be exactly what mine were, wait what? You want me to leave Texas for 11 months without seeing my family or friends?
Yes, thats exactly what I am calling you to.
The Lord whispered over and over the word obedience as I began to pray and process through what this would look like. I have never been more scared and excited at the same time! I’ve come to realize that my purpose on this earth is to spread the name of Jesus wherever I am and the last four years has been on the softball field, an hour away from home.
Starting in January of 2017 for 11 months I will be sharing the gospel in 11 different countries, miles away from the comfort of my home. As I continue to prepare for this journey in my life, I think of the opportunities God will provide my teammates and I to share HIS name. Though I may be scared, lonely, and missing home there’s nothing I would rather be doing than following God’s call on my life.
As I start to fundraise and prepare over the next year I ask that you will pray over this trip, the people I will encounter, and my teammates and I.
