So this time next year I'll be transitioning from Swaziland to Thailand.  And so I could give you all kinds of facts like I normally do about the countries but instead I'm going to let the World Race tell you.

When I was going back and forth about whether or not to commit to this crazy adventure, I went to a fundraiser dinner with my dear friend Keri for someone who was leaving in October for the race.  After eating lots of delicious food she showed this promo video.  My heart broke while watching it (and still does even now) and I just felt this peace when it was over.  A peace I hadn't felt about the trip.  And then my friend turns to me, tears in her eyes and says, you need to do this.  And so I committed.  I hope this speaks to you in some way.  Maybe you'll do something crazy or maybe your worldview will open more after seeing this.

I can't even imagine what it will be like working with orphans in Swaziland or with people affected by sex trafficking in Thailand but I'm pretty sure it'll be unbelievably heartbreaking and difficult.   Warm thoughts and prayers during these two months would be greatly appreciated.  Praying now for God to prepare me for this would also be awesome!
