I’ll start by being really real. This blog is about fundraising.
Before I left on the race, I was blessed with an amazing job. It enabled to me scrimp and save to be able to pay for a large portion of my trip. Also probably helped along by the fact that I still lived with my mom and she charges very little rent (you really are the best Mom!). Gods provision looks different for different people. For me, it was my income a couple very generous donations for which I am so grateful. This was both easy and hard for me. For the time being, I knew where my funds would come from – a biweekly paycheck with my name on it. But come January when I would get on that plane and leave Idaho, I know longer had any control. It was completely up to God to do the rest.
Here I am almost three months later. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown and how blessed I am to be doing the work of God. And with the end of three months comes a financial deadline. As of April 1st, I need to have a total of $11,000 in my support account. Right now, I need approximately $3300 to meet it.
Please pray about donating to keep me on race. I’m not ready to go home. That is an eventuality I refuse to consider.
God is good. Where He led, I followed. And where he leads, He provides.
