So basically, I keep telling myself I need to get better about blogging.. but it doesn’t seem to happen.. So here is a quick update… just about the changes that have happened….
New Team: Team Awakened by Choice!
Which includes: Scott Cangemi, Cameron Freeman, Myself, Lacee Peloquin, Ashley Penny, Leah Day, and Adrea Ross.
Lucas and Sarah (Our original squad leaders) have headed back to the states… Which means we have new amazing squad leaders: Mike Desmond, Andrea Garcia, and Kevin Buzzie!
For the past 6 weeks I have been in the Philippines working with Kids International Ministries.. We have done a huge variety of ministry including, but not limited to: feedings, construction, bible studies, the Jazz House (local home for teenage girls), New Faith Children’s Home (orphanage), Children’s Garden (local home for teenage boys), and working with the street kids. It’s been a crazy month… but so so good!
I am almost half way done with the race…. Crazy, right?
Our time in the Philippines is coming to an end..
On Saturday, December 17, we head out for Thailand!
Next month is “Man-istry” month.. Meaning all the men will be working together as one team (on some goat farm)… and the women will be spread out as teams across Thailand. With that being said, our current team leader (Scott) will be leading the men in Man-istry and I have been raised up as the team leader for our ladies next month.
Us ladies will be working with SHE ministries in Phuket, Thailand, a ministry created to fight human trafficking and prostitution in Thailand. A lot of our ministry will take place at night in the bars. Building relationships and sharing God’s love with the prostitutes downtown.
Time if flying by… and were getting ready to head into month 6th!
