A few things I learned/was reminded of this month…
The power does not go out every time it snows in CT but…
Leaves on tress + Living in tree loving West Hartford = no power for 9 days
I like dragging deers out of the woods… LOL PS If you are dragging a deer out of the woods, you gut it where it was shot, lessens the load and sorry for you weak stomachs, but I thought it was cool. =) I could add pics but I won't. =)
(actually a lesson from last month… Thank you Bill and Charles)
I love my job… but I love the thought of my upcoming opportunity much more and not sure I'll go back to 12 hour floor nursing, not sure of anything that far in the future.
Life is precious, children are precious and so much of today affects their tomorrow… too many reminders this month, but thankful for each one.
I don't mind living out of a bag and sleeping on couches or wherever especially if it means being close to the ones I love. (Good thing esp since this is what I'm doing for the next 11 months!)
I'm feeling GOOOOOOOD!
At peace… yep
Scared… nope
Slightly stressed about my To Do list… yep (nothing new here)
Super insightful… nope (ha ha… clearly)
Thankful… YEP… ALL DAY!
I read this today and thought I'd share a tid bit but really all of Psalm 63 is pretty great… here's my fav part…
3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.
See the thing is… I have less than a month to come up with $1795. I’m not stressed about it. I believe God has got this. I don’t know how (or who rather) He plans on doing this but that's ok. The best part is I actually believe that…it took me a long time to be able to get to that point.
