And the adventure begins… only slept like 2 hours last night… I’m a procrastinator and was up packing of course. Got up at 5:15am took a cab… oh I was a nervous girl … we get to the airport and the cab driver tells me his credit card machine isn’t working… so I’m supposed to leave my pack in his trunk while I run into the ATM to get cash… so I said a quick prayer, took my carry on with my laptop and wallet and quickly found an ATM… thankfully it worked out! LOL! He was totally cool and I got a discount… yes I know some of YOU are already shaking your head. =)
So now I’m crammed on this airplane, all I can think of is… my are my femurs so long and it’s a really good thing I’m not allergic to peanuts because that’s all I can smell. Oh did I mention I also can’t eat until after my doctors appt this afternoon at 2pm… probably why I’m paying attn to the peanuts so much, although I’m not really hungry yet. I could really use some Starbucks at this point though.
I have a million things going on in my head… I miss my family and friends, am I going to settle down after this trip (the million dollar question), I’m a little nervous, did I get this wrong… is this what God really wanted me to do… OF COURSE IT IS… praying the $ will come in before Sunday (only $450 left to go… well for this deadline) … I know it will God’s got this…

The best part is… I meet my team in 3 days!!! Actually I’ll totally get to meet a few of them tomorrow! I’m so excited… we’ve been chatting back and forth on the FB (facebook), I can already tell they are just absolutely amazing people… so supportive, so thoughtful, sweet and most importantly… SUPER FUN!!! I already have some of the most amazing people in my life… I’m incredibly blessed by the people around me and it seems so crazy that I get to add more amazing people to my family/friend circle… I love that this is what life is about… I love people! (Yes this is how my thoughts work lol… and you wonder why I get lost telling my own stories sometimes =).
PS I get to see my MOM today!!! Super stoked she is picking me up from the airport. Then off to chill for a day and a half with her and a few friends.
Tomorrow night I am attending a pre-training camp seminar with professional photographers, cinematographers, and writers… basically cause it sounds cool, it’s provided, and it’s supposed to help this blog be better… your welcome LOL! Nothing wrong with adding to my list of skills. 😉
Tomorrow is also Patty’s (Patrick-my puppy) birthday… He’s going to be 6 years old… such a big boy! But it’s our 1st of 2 birthdays not together =(… don’t worry I’m buying him a bone and sending it home with my mom… He’ll totally know it’s from me =) I love my dog… He’s so rock star!
Alright… this is where the going is gonna get good… TRAINING CAMP T-3 days… I’m ready!!… Please pray for my team and I as we travel from all over the country to come together, learn to work as a family, get to know each other, and get a glimpse of what life will be like on traveling the world for eleven months. Oh yeah THIS IS GONNA ROCK MY WORLD!!! Love it!
