So this month has been INSANE! I spent a week at home with the fam, joined The World Race!, was in an earthquake and hurricane in the same week lol, thought I was moving to NYC, found out I’m actually moving to CT. So I’m taking a break from house hunting and packing to work on my blog and fundraising letters.
Which is when I realize, I am overwhelmed! This probably makes you think- ‘duh Melissa you have a lot going on’ (not that unusual for me lol). But that’s not it… I am truly overwhelmed by the amount of blessings in my life! By the way God is changing me and where God is leading me! IT seriously just amazes me. I have friends that text me just to tell me I’m amazing and beautiful. And a brother and sister that dropped everything in their extremely busy lives and spent all day yesterday helping me search for a new/safe place to live. A mother that supports me in everything I do no matter how much it may scare her. I could seriously go on for hours, because of all of you, my amazing family and friends. However, we all know if I go on for hours you won’t keep reading my blog so I’m gonna just stop there, but you get my point. Life rocks!!! God rocks!!! And I am SO THANKFUL!!!
It all just reminds me why I’m so excited to go on this trip. Because it’s not about me. It’s about all of us and who YOU all helped me to become. I am so blessed and I feel like I am overflowing with this love, His love and I just want to share it. I want to help people, I want to learn, I want to change, I want to grow and I can’t wait to do just that.
