I hope this letter finds you well! I have some exciting news to share with you. The last few years my heart and faith have taken me down some amazing paths and on a few crazy adventures. Earlier this year, I started travel nursing because I felt like I needed a challenge and always wanted to travel. I loved my life in Atlanta but it seemed too comfortable, too easy… Although travel nursing has been fun and a great learning experience, it still isn’t enough. I want to travel more, learn more, do more… So I started looking for my next adventure and I found it… THE WORLD RACE!!! I truly believe this is what God had been leading me towards all these years.
SO what is this you ask?… The World Race is a Christian mission trip that travels to eleven countries in eleven months. I will be leaving in January 2012 and traveling to El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Nepal, India, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda. During The World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restoration and hope of God’s love to many tribes and nations. To sum it up, there is going to be a lot of adventure, ministry, community and self discovery and we are going to go into communities, love on them and help them.
Proverbs 16:3 says “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed!” Well, I have committed! I have complete faith that this is what God has waiting for me. Therefore, I know He will provide. My prayer is that He may do so through you. I am asking you to consider partnering with me in my new journey. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on The World Race, which covers all of my expenses in the field for the entire eleven months. You can make a one time donation or set up monthly donations =) Whatever works best for you! If you’d be willing to give monthly, you choose the amount and the beginning and end dates.
