$16 000…yes…you did read that correctly! It’s a very large amount of money and at times I don’t believe it will be possible…but then, if I’m a Christian, I believe that “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26). In this situation, I have no choice but to believe this or this will be impossible!
So here I am, trying to start this crazy thing we call fundraising, not really knowing how or where to start. I know that many people will support me and I know that God will provide this people in my life to make this mission trip possible for me. Just this week, a doctor whom my aunt works with gave her a small donation for me. His words were, “from a small acorn a mighty oak grows and he has planted the first seed“! I do believe those words and I pray that they will come true for me.
I have a few donations thus far, a fabulous feat accomplished! That mighty oak is slowly growing! I pray that it will gain more food and water to continue growing!
