The biggest struggle that people seem to have when they are off on their grand adventure in Bolivia is either getting to visit the Jungle (which I might add covers half of Bolivia)

Or..

The wetlands known as Pampas! Unfortunately, since Bolivia is so large, people must make the choice of either the Jungle or Pampas.

So I have come to the conclusion that while on my mission trip, if I can get a day off then I must make the heart breaking choice as well.

So let’s start with the Jungle!

1. All I really need to say is Coffee! Around 80% of the food we eat originally came from rainforests and this includes Coffee. As a coffee addict, I am beyond excited about trying different flavors of coffee that will come from the amazon.

2.Tropical rainforests only cover about 6% of the Earth’s surface, but they are home to more than half the world’s total plant and animal species.

                                         ***Random Fun fact***

There are around 3000 fruits found in rainforests, and where we live, we make use of around 200 of them.

Now for the Pampas!!

Anacondas, Piranhas and Crocs are all found in this beloved part of the country! Now as a kid I have always wanted to see certain animals in the wild and Yes.. This includes Anacondas and Piranhas! 😀

However doing my research you can also come across a Pink River Dolphin (Rare) while you are in the Pampas. You can also find the worlds largest rodent called Capybaras and they are super cute!!! 😀

There is a ton of stuff when it comes to the rain forest and it’s always have been on my list of places to see. To get the chance to not only serve others and to be see part of God’s creation, will be an incredible blessing!!

I also am going to leave you with pictures of the Amazon! Enjoy!!
