Dear friends, family and anyone reading this who may know someone who is somehow connected to someone important and Jesus-loving in Mozambique,
My team is partnering with Adventures in Missions in a new project called Unsung Heroes Campaign (UHC). This is a vision where we can find impactful people bringing the Kingdom around the globe, tell their stories and possibly find new partners for future world race teams. It’s a really beautiful idea and I am so happy to be a part of it this month.
An Unsung Hero is a person who has dedicated their life to the Lord and serves Him where they are at in the world. They may not receive worldwide recognition, but they are playing a huge role in their community and helping to build the Kingdom. Do you know anyone like this? Wouldn’t it be a wonderful thing to have missions team see their ministry and be a part of it? Wouldn’t it be fantastic if their active work for the Lord was made known to others outside of their community?
Our goal is to identify these men and women, share their stories with the world and hopefully provide partners for Adeventures in Missions to send World Race teams to in the future. My team is in Mozambique this month and focusing on finding contacts here. How are we going to do this, you ask. Well, we are very passionate and motivated in this process and are dedicating half of our month to this campaign (the other half of the month, we are working with a local Pastor in Maputo and his church Igresja Envagelica Palavra De Deus. He himself was an Unsung Hero). When we work on UHC, we will actively seek information from various sources. I am even asking if you know someone who may know someone else that may be connected. My team can connect the dots to get a hold of people and we will spend a lot of time e-mailing this month. We will use the worldwide web to find any possible Unsung Heroes. We will contact them, hopefully meet with them, see their ministry, discuss possible future partnership and most importantly get to know them and their heart for the Kingdom.
Please send me an e-mail ([email protected]) if you know anyone that can assist us in this journey. You never know if your friend, pastor, contact in a country close by Mozambique may know someone who has been pouring themselves into their ministry for the Lord. Any leads help. I ask that you consider helping my team find some Unsung Heroes.
Thanks so much! I hope to hear from you soon. You can contact me via Facebook (facebook.come/melanieheath), E-mail ([email protected]) or Skype (melaniechristine11).
