The book of Joshua.
The book of Joshua is full of comforting gems.
As I am preparing to peace out of the States on Friday, these simple phrases are such powerful reminders to hold on to and press into.
There is such a wide range of emotions stirring within me right now and they all seem to be cancelling each other out; leaving me feeling blank. As I flew from Fort Worth to D.C I kept asking myself, "Where am I going?" I seemed to be floating, observing myself from some place else. "Where am I going?" This can not possibly be real life, this can not possibly be my life.
I am about to step into the unknown. But honestly, it is no different than waking up each day back home. Do any of us know what each day holds? Nope, we think we do but the truth is we have no idea. So what makes the race seem so much more unknown? Our false sense of security in the comforts of home. The Lord is going to take care of me and my squad so I have no need to worry. He has gone before us and has prepared the way. All we have to do is be obeditent to what He has called us into.
