CHRISTMAS IN LONDON
From being sad about missing these fine folk,
to embracing the family that I have this year…and learning how blessed I am!
Here are some of the pictures from our London July ’08 Christmas…enjoy!!
Lisa and Lindsay on our way to get some WARM clothes earlier in December when we arrived in London and were FREEZING!!
My 5 Alive Family with our namesake…5 Alive fruit juice…
don’t tell anyone, but I don’t even really like the drink!!
Our Christmas spread…you would have thought we were in the Hilton…it was beautiful thanks to the set-up work of Marissa.
And these were our two Christmas Festivities Coordinators,
Sara and
Jen note the amazing food!! (it was ALL great except the turkey, …but wait, I hate turkey so I didn’t eat any but I heard it was great!! I will have to eat some roast beef next year!!)
This my friend, is not a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, it is not a fake Christmas tree, this is a World Race Christmas…this is what you get when you live on a budget and can’t afford to buy a real one that is bigger than your hand…THANK YOU to our delightful friends Shanda and Katie who MADE this Christmas tree from scrap pine and a slab of wood with some power tools, wire and other misc items!! Isn’t it beautiful!!?? And it didn’t cost us our food for the day!!! wahoo, Jesus loves us!!
And then for the evening festivities, we had the “Newly Wed” game which was rather enlightening for us single ones…it made for a fun-filled evening!! by the way, the couple in the middle were the official winners, but I think they all did well!!
