On April 16th I wrote a blog that ended with a plea for help. 22 of the 33 people on my squad still needed to raise funds; my 3 alumni squad leaders also needed funds.
Today only 14 of the 33 people on my squad still need funds. That’s 8 less people!! We have been hearing so many crazy and amazing stories of how God is providing funds.
We still have some work to do. For this squad to complete the race we have to raise $559,746 + $19,500 for alumni squad leaders = $579,246. That is a God-sized amount of money!
God has already provided $535,762. WOW! Let’s celebrate that! He is SO good!
We only need $43,484 for all of my squad members and alumni squad leaders to be fully funded. In comparison, that is only 8% of what is needed. We have raised 92%!!
You may be wondering why I’m writing this. For two reasons: 1. Look at what God has done! He is an awesome provider. What else can you trust Him with because you now know this story? 2. I love my squad and want all of them to succeed in fundraising. Not all of them have a large or financially able support base. I have a fairly large and quite giving support base. I also have some amazing prayer warriors who will intercede for my dear friends.
