WE ARE HERE! Well, we’ve been in Panama for quite sometime, but here is my first official update to you all from the field. Life here has been crazy beautiful. This month I am living in a house in San Felix with 11 other women (we have two combined teams for this month). We are partnered with a ministry known as ICJesus ministries and I really could not say enough good things about them. They are a radical & sold out couple living out a day-by-day Spirit led agenda. Each morning they wake up seeking out what different ways God will use them that day- and then they just GO. Ministry with them so far this month has including hiking mountains and meeting with pastors, working at children’s homes, physical labor such as helping to build trenches and re-painting a school, prayer walks, and so much more. Everyday is flexible we never know what we will do or how long we will be doing it for so we just go and see how Holy Spirit is going to move that day. It’s amazing.

Panama is a stunning country we are surrounded by mountains and some of the most beautiful scenery here. The people are amazing as well. A gentle spirit to them, but once you build that trust you get a taste of their wild and carefree hearts.

At nights we cook our own dinners and do team time/ house time together- my team has been going through one testimony a day which has been growing us a ton together. It has become so clear to me within the past few weeks that this team of beautiful women are exactly who I am supposed to be doing life with this year. I love them so much- their hearts, their uniqueness, their boldness, the way they love, the way we laugh together, how we yearn to go deeper together. God is going to do WILD things and great things through a group of such willing and hungry women this year.

(One of my favorite chicas this month, Linda, she is an absolute joy and has such a beautiful heart).

I had battled staring at the screen of my laptop for hours not knowing how to begin my first blog while on the field- but I realized these blogs don’t need to be perfect. In fact they are going to be quite the opposite this year, they are going to be messy, broken, raw, real, hard, beautiful, tear-jerking, and frustrating, but definitely never perfect. Because that’s the reality of what my life is going to look like this year. And I want you ALL to be a part of this adventure. Be avid and dedicate prayer warrior for the nations of the world! Tell stories, because stories change everything. Nothing can change a person’s heart like a testimony or a story of redemption that only Jesus can bring forth! Partner with me! Also, since I am not the best blogger ever, make sure to check out my teammates blogs who will also be posting blogs this year. You can find all their blog addresses on the left hand side of blog- all their names are located under team anchored in waves.

So, now that I have clarified all of that. Dive in with me? God is an endless ocean. He’s so worth seeking for the rest of our lives.
