We received the squad leaders this morning into our home for the next couple of days: Kevin being my old team leader, being one of them. It's good to reminisce about the old times of Africa. Getting to share with him the news I received of Hassan (the street kid in Uganda)

the email i received from our contact there:
"Nice hearing from you Megan. It’s been long am so glad you are finishing your outreach. Of course I remember you Hassan is still here he persevered and God is doing great in his life his life is changing for the better each day. we will always miss your team so so much you were a great blessings to our ministry .thanks for the zeal you have for ministry I personally liked you so much and have always prayed for you .you can follow our ministry updates and follow us and pray us .www.facebook.com/ascm (all souls for Christ ministries).
Thanks for remembering us Megan pass on our worm greetings to the rest of the team members that we love, miss, and pray for them. You pray for God's provision of funds for the orphanage food expenses, medical and welfare .stay blessed Greetings from my wife Alice and my family plus the church. Naboth "
(Read my motherhood blog for more info). It did my heart well to hear that he stayed and is doing well. As one of my teammate's said: “I’m a proud momma.”
Since talking with Kevin this morning I realized I have unintentionally done a great dishonor with my blog writing. I never properly wrote about a lot of things. One of them being our second contact in Kenya and our time in Busia: Catherine Omanyo. She opened up her home to us and shared her heart with us (her children). Kevin told me this morning her simple words to him last night over facebook chat were: “we need food.”

When have I ever legitimately said that?
When have I been in need so much that I didn't know where my next meal would come from? Yes, I have been living $3 a day for food this past year, but I’m gaining weight and others are starving. This just does not sit well with me.
In Uganda I remember the well on the orphanage property running dry while we were there.
“We need water.”
“We need food.”
i think those words will haunt me for a long time….
In Luke 11:10 it states ask and you shall receive. Father I beg you to send provision for your glory.
Since, I’m on the subject of reminiscing: praises are in order for what the Lord is continuing to do in the nations we have visited. Below are some of the praises I have heard since leaving.
Rwanda
Our pastor in Rwanda, his facebook status a couple of days ago being: “Oh God! Whom should I help to find you today?” I do believe I am still learning from that man. The sewing students have graduated and I pray that they receive sewing machines and jobs to help support themselves as they are scared of not being about to find work. ([email protected] if you would like to find out how to help with that).
Philippines:
Rona has received a home and no longer has to live in one small room at the children’s home with her son. She has received funds to attend school to become a midwife and will be a great asset to continue reaching/serving the pregnant woman of their community. Alfredo got his toe amputated. World Race teams continue impacting in that community through KIM (kidsinternationalministries.org).

The new children’s home is being built for Remember Nhu. Beth and Brian Wood’s (http://www.granolagospel.com) have moved to Cambodia to work with the Remember Nhu home there to continue helping preventing children being sold into the sex trade.

Cambodia
I miss Jom. Pray he becomes a man of the Lord. (Video below)
Malaysia:
Great things will happen there (Mustard blog), it’s starting in people like Cat at the hospital and Peter at YWAM.
China:
The home church we worked with is expanding and moved into a larger apartment. Praise the Lord!
Ukraine:
Praying the CCX stay strong and continue doing the good work they are doing with college ministries and that they would be bold for the spread of the gospel. That the English camp this summer would impact the university students that attend like it has in the past. That the spirit of Religion would depart and the Holy Spirit would enter. So many beautiful people there!
Romania:
They are about to get me:) they just need the prayer for that. As everyone goes home and has no idea what they will be doing. I go to Romania and have no idea how the Lord will decide to use me. Pray doors open. That God uses me to bring new understanding, new insight, and new knowledge of the height and depth of the Lords love for them. Pray that I would receive new understanding, new insight, and new knowledge of God’s love for me as I work and learn aside faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Moldova:
Pray that church planting continues in the surrounding villages. Pray that we would be bold and active in our remaining week here. I am falling in love with the church family here. VBS, English lessons, and Lord willing through continued village visits we will be spreading the kingdom of God.
THe USA is in for a treat when they get back my squad, Greater things are to come.
It is hard for me to believe these past 11 months is coming to a close. The Lord is working. It is so encouraging to hear the stories that come out of each month, months after we have left them.
God is Good. All the time: in hunger, in sickness, in need, in plenty. He is worthy.
Humbled.
Honored.
We serve a mighty God.
I heard it said once,"There is nothing more difficult then asking (begging)". however, I am asking you to consider partnering with any of the above needs.
I recently watched Boondocks Saints II (horrible movie, don't watch it) but at the end of it there was a quote: “Put your thinking cap on, we have all the financial backing and protection we will ever need.” Pointing to the church.
Church (the body of Christ) please unite; if not for these needs then for others.
There are countless other people and stories I didn't even mention. I apoligize.
