I have asked myself these questions while on the World Race:
What am I doing here?
Is this really where God wants me?
I don’t have my crap together, is God really using me?
In my life, I have had a pattern of questioning whether or not I am following the will of God. I get so caught up on trying to wait for the perfect life situation to be clearly presented to me that I miss what God’s will is for me right now. I am on the World Race, wondering how I got here and that maybe I made a mistake thinking this is where God wants me. I put it in my head that God has to show me what His will is for me through a burning bush like He did Moses. But, the truth is… God pretty much lays out His will for my life in the Bible.
“And we know that in all things God works for those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
– Romans 8:28-30
God’s purpose for my life is to be conformed to the likeness of Christ.
It is so easy to believe that in order to really follow the will of God, we need a clear vision. But God’s will is much simpler than that. He wants us to be more like Jesus. That’s a pretty amazing calling.
Because of this, I have become a believer in love. Simply put, Jesus loved. And through this whole journey, the thing I want to bring to the people I come across is love. And not the feel good kind of love that fades, but the love of Jesus. The love that does. The love that feeds the hungry, the love that hugs the street children and the love that sees people as children of God.
When Jesus sent out his twelve disciples, he said this:
“Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”
– Matthew 10: 5-8
Boom.
In the midst of my questioning, it hit me that I am walking in the will of God. I am trying to humble myself to the likeness of Jesus. Its one of the most exciting journeys we could ever take in our lives.
Love transforms lives. Because I have been transformed by love I want to strive to be a light to others who are yearning for something more. I want Jesus to transform my life daily so then He can use me to transform other’s worlds. I believe in a powerful God who longs to redeem this generation and bring His kingdom to this earth. I am an ordinary girl trying to live an extraordinarily life following Jesus. I want to strive everyday to be a kingdom bringer, life seeker, a hope giver, and most importantly a child of God.
This calling is for all of us, not just me. Are you trying to live like Jesus daily and bring his kingdom to all those you come into contact with?

In order for me to continue of this kingdom journey, I need you! I believe we all have different roles in the kingdom. Right now, mine is to be spreading Jesus’ love to the nations. You can be a part of this by supporting me financially and praying for me! I need 5,000 dollars to be fully funded! It seems like a lot, but if 50 people gave me 100 dollars, I would be there! Please consider joining me as I continue to walk in the will of God.
